Thursday, November 27, 2008, is 1 Men (Eagle). Today in the U.S. we have Thanksgiving, an American celebration of life. In the Mayan calendar today is the beginning of a new 13 day number cycle and the energy of Men, the eagle. How can I be of service?
In the life cycle we begin as an infant. By nature we are helpless and vulnerable, as well as selfish. As we mature we must at some point turn our attention elsewhere. We must learn to be of service.

Friday, November 7, 2008, is 7 Men (Eagle). We live in a yin yang world, and as we explore this concept we find that everything is inter-related. This means that one cannot live without the other. There are no one way roads in our earth walk
Men, the eagle, is very service oriented. Let’s take a step. to the other side and ask about receiving. Our ability to receive is relational to the value we place in ourselves, and the value we place in what we seek.
When we turn the other direction and look at our service or giving, we will see the same mirrors. What value do we assign to those we are giving to, and how much do we value what we have to offer.
This day is an excellent time to clear the pathway between the two sides.

Tuesday, August 19, 2008 is 5 Men (Eagle): The fifth day of the cycle is when we move into action to make the dream a reality. In this cycle this point is driven deeply by the influence of Men, the eagle.
Today we carry our commitment to the dream deeply into our world. Men is service, not necessarily to others, but to ourselves, our higher purpose, and our dream. In order to give anything to others we must first have it within ourselves.
Commitment is the word of the day. How connected are we within ourselves? Today is a good day for reflection and release of those little things that misdirect us, so we can remain focused and in tune with our dreams and visions.

Wednesday, July 30, 2008 is 11 Men (Eagle): How do we bring balance into our lives: through service. Many of us have a distorted relationship with the concept of service.
We place our focus outside ourselves to an extent that we are depleted, and carry concepts in our minds that makes it difficult to receive. Eleven brings us back into a state of simplicity, and Men, the Eagle, brings us back to believing in ourselves. It takes the combination of giving and receiving to be in flow with the universe.
