Wednesday, October 15, 2008 is 10 Eb (The Road).  Ten is the day of manifestation, when the planting and nurturing of the cycle come to bloom.  Does it always have to be something tangible?  Can’t the results be a decision, like a change in direction?

We are reminded of the yin yang balance on this day, for every road has two directions.  No matter which direction we face there are always other directions.  Sometimes we choose our path by feeling, or by the information we have amassed that makes us think we “know”.  Tomorrow we will talk about one of our influences, the reed, and the questions we face in our either/or world.

Saturday, September 6, 2008 is 10 Ben (Reed):  Ten is the day of completion or manifestation.  In this cycle it is teamed with Ben, the reed.  Ben is one of the least understood of the Mayan Tzolkin glyphs. 

Today I find the understanding of perception, that we cannot always understand the bigger picture, especially from the viewpoint of the moment.  I see what appears as a ribbon waving through the universe, somehow connected yet largely unseen.  The ripple of energy flows through this ribbon, reminding us that action brings reaction.  Nothing is without purpose, and though we may not see or understand that which comes to us it still can serve us.  In fact we have the day of servitude yet to come in this cycle.  What this cycle means to us is yet to be disclosed.

Monday, July 28, 2008 is 9  Ben  (Reed): We have reached the highpoint of this cycle and prepare ourselves for the descent that comes with manifestation.  Ben, the reed, gives us connectivity to the earth and our individual foundation.  The reed is able to bend with the wind, responding to its environment with grace. 

Tomorrow brings us manifestation. Today is a day of preparation, which may require a shift in our thoughts or beliefs.

Thursday, July 3, 2008 is 10  lamat (Star): Ten is the day of completion or manifestation.  Given the energy of lamat, or the Star, we have a harmonic display of an expansion within the universe.  What of your personal universe, have you given yourself this gift of support and clearer perspective?

Friday, June 6, 2008 is 9 Imix (Alligator): We are quickly approaching the day of reward or manifestation. Today is an earthy day so brimming with life that we find ourselves nearly drunk on its nectar. Yesterday was a day to release and fill yourself with the cosmic or universal presence. Today is the day to balance your cosmic banquet with the many wonderful gifts of the world. Bring your connectivity to the planet to its brightest and lightest level, and drink richly from the stream that Gaia, our great mother earth provides. Perhaps she offers us today the ingredients that will form into our bounty.
