Mayan Daily Insights: One Day, One Insight

We have two interesting thoughts to consider on this day. There is the number twelve, taking that banner and running with it. We also have the symbol of Imix, the very beginning. This next cycle, I feel like it’s going to rock, totally rock.

Tuesday February 16, 2010 is 5 Imix, the Alligator in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. The fifth day is usually a little upsetting to the comfort we create around us. The young bird will eventually be pushed out of the nest, and clinging to its safety zone will do it no good.

Our days may all have similarities, but they are still all unique. Taking this a step further it is not so much about what happens in the day, but our interpretation and gain from those experiences. Evolution comes in the aftermath of living.

Today, January 7, 2010 is 4 Imix, the Alligator in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. We don’t recognize the power of the snowball before it comes together. It all begins with one snowflake, just one, but without the one nothing comes together. Try to find the origin of the snowball, and its unlikely it will be found. In fact we no longer see the snowflakes, instead we see it as something different. It is the snowball effect.

When we put our minds together, what can we create? There is a stronger chance for success when we team up, work together for a better world. What ancient concepts support this idea?
