This is the story for today, January 16, 2010, as we explore the characteristics of 13 Oc, the dog. We’ve been practicing all our lives, but for illustration purposes let’s talk just of the last few days and the faces we have seen.
Today is December 27, 2009, and 6 Oc, the Dog in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. It was believed that the day a person was born indicated a trait that they carried, and those born on any day carrying the sign of Oc would be instilled with loyalty. Today we hear from Oc, the dog. [...]
In the Mayan Daily Insights, Sunday, February 15, 2009 is 3 Men (Eagle). What happens when you take the interactivity and spark of the yesterday’s Jaguar and bring in the element of Men, the Eagle? Today we speak of commitment, the willingness to hold on to the dream.
For those who moved restlessly in their [...]
Each of the glyphs seem so simple, yet within that simplicity we can find such a complex array of ideas. Oc is no exception. This glyph delves into our interactivity. This goes far beyond how we relate to others.
