Mayan Daily Insights – Time Honored Wisdom Mayan Tzolkin and our Leap into 2012

Today is January 6, 2010, which is 3 Ahau, the Light in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. Glimmer: a dim glow, a faint light. To look into the mirror and see beyond what we typically expect, see, and assess. What more can we say than “relax and be with your own life”.

In the Mayan calendar Ahau is the last of the 20 glyphs, and this is a great place to set as our guiding light.

Day in and day out the Mayan Calendar turns, giving us a new combination. Is it simply pointless names like the name Friday, or is there meaning and value beyond what we see? Today is 2 Ahau, the day of light. What message does the day bring us?
