Mayan Daily Insights: One Day, One Insight

There is no great fanfare, no spark that comes with the mystic number of seven. We simply endure the moment and move on. Do we linger? Why bother when we are so much greater than the steps we take, this is the message of the Jaguar.

Movement takes energy. The world creates movement in many ways, sometimes through conflict and friction. Are we any different? We can look at life as an uphill battle, but we must also face the facts: it takes energy to move forward.

Today is Monday, March 1, 2010 is 5 Ix, the Jaguar in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. We cannot know what we are capable of in either our ability to do or our capacity to have until we step forward and do it.

As we move forward many ask, “What can we look forward to in 2010?” To that the origin of our power speaks out, saying, “What do you want it to be?” Happy New Year, and welcome to2010. Do we make it a prediction, premonition, or purposeful intent?

Where is your power? Does your Friday bring you release from the bonds of others, or is it simply a shift of attention from one place to another? Is this day one when you free yourself, or celebrate your ongoing freedom to give 100 percent no matter where you are?

Yesterday we made a bold statement, today we continue that thread. It is good to know one’s self, in the sense of value, when facing ourselves so strongly in that same sense. Does this sound like it goes in circles? Yes, it does, because it does.
