Whatever we truly Believe

Saturday, November 29, 2008 is 3 Caban (Earth). On this third day of the cycle we have the boomerang of life. We began with our act. Whether it was a prayer or a service it was a focused request. “You reap what you sow”. Yesterday we waited. “Patience is a virtue”, comes to mind, as well as, “Good things come to those who wait”. Kan - The Universe Within

Mayan Glyphs No Comments »

kan speaks boldly of the power contained within. The seed contains everything it needs to create its own likeness.  We too contain everything we need to reflect in our own light, speak with our own voice, and carry forth on our own path.   How often do we turn our focus outward, and try to be something that we are not?  And then we wonder why we are not happy, or feel incomplete?

But then kan gives us the opportunity to begin again.  This is a blessing, being able to make a fresh start of it.  The great thing about it is that this beginning has so many possibilities, an infinite number.  kan gives us the universe, and our role is to choose and grow.

kan is the fourth glyph of named days in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, and will repeat every twenty days, but with a different number day. Which day were you born on? What degree of destiny or fate does your birthdate hold? The combination of named day and number day only comes around once every 52 years. What does your combination say about you? Sign up for your Mayan Birthdate reading today!

In the life cycle we begin as an infant. By nature we are helpless and vulnerable, as well as selfish.  As we mature we must at some point turn our attention elsewhere.  We must learn to be of service.
